We would like you to be able to book your trip with peace of mind. That is why we as a travel agency are affiliated with VvKR and the guarantee scheme STO. Also is Go Local! for you extra insured for extreme accidents during the trip. You are still responsible for taking out travel insurance.

In order to comply with the statutory guarantee, we use STO Garant, a guarantee scheme recognised by the Consumer and Market Authority (ACM). You can check this via the STO Garant participant page (www.sto-garant.nl/deelnemers). All information about STO Garant can be found at www.sto-garant.nl.

In addition to the responsibility for your travel pleasure, we also take responsibility for the impact on climate and people. In addition to the social projects, we also have a CO2 compensation project and we work as much as possible with partners from the countries themselves

 
Background Guarantee Scheme:
With each (travel) offer of Go Local Travel on this website you can read whether the guarantee of STO Garant applies. In the guarantee scheme you can read what the warranty means and what conditions apply. You can find this guarantee scheme on the website of STO Garant (www.sto-garant.nl/downloads).
The operation
If the guarantee of STO Garant applies to your booking, then you pay the travel amount not to Go Local Travel, but to the third party funds account of Stichting Compensating Certo Escrow, a payment service provider registered with The Netherlands Bank (DNB) and the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). This foundation guarantees your travel amount until after your booking has been increased. The next day, the travel amount will be released to Go Local Travel. Should Go Local Travel become financially incapable before the end of your booking, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. In the guarantee scheme you can read how you claim it in that case.
