Positive impact traveling

Besides traveling, making a positive impact is of course a very nice combination. This is no longer a utopia but a simple reality. In collaboration with PIT (Positive Impact Tours) we have put together very special and impressive experiences. On these trips a more meaningful exchange takes place between you as a traveler and the location you visit. We do this in various ways with hands-on activities that are not only incredibly fun to do, but also really useful for your local hosts and nature. We offer them as a day trip but we have also beautiful multiple day tours ready for you.

Your own Positive Impact Experiences? For Peru, Colombia and Ecuador we have a number of unforgettable experiences. You can book these as a complete trip as a multi-day tour during your own trip or as a separate day tour. Of course we also have our regular day tours to these destinations. See the details for the countries themselves at the top of the menu bar!

Internship and volunteering:If you really want to delve deeper into the culture, take a look at our volunteer program and our internship examples.

What makes our tours impactful?

Just with all our tours we are looking at safety, fun and usefulnes without environmantal impact. However we have noticed in our years of experiences that we could move it to a next level… this is possible if you wants to go to this next level as well! That’s why we felt comfortable with the Positive Impact term.

In these tours or multiple day tours you will find above our standard ingridients also a meaningfull taste of most of the following:

  • Importance of cultural and historical value: This can be found by Machu Picchu, but there are much more locations less famous but also with a high (local) level of cultural and historical value that you learn here. Visiting the less known and touristic places helps directly to reduce mass tourism and get a broader benniift and postive acceptence of tourism.
  • Less emission: If possible and safe me make use of public transport, bikes or horseriding. But also get for example (biological)food produced close by to have minimum impact.
  • Local Economy: During our trips or activities we try to make use of services and productions that are directly connected with the location or area that you visit. This gives you the oppertunity to get in touch with unknown products and tastes.
  • Social Impact: We still can learn a lot, this unique experiences you get once in touch with local culture and knowledge,. But also the otherway around by visiting a project you support their work. We also try to get a good connection with awareness on both ends. So after each visit all are more motivated to make the change!
